Meet Callum

Art has always been the constant in Callum's life. From an early age it was clear that whatever career he chose, it would need to involve creating. Tattooing became the natural path, combining technical skill with the opportunity to create work that people carry with them for life.

Specialising in black and grey realism, Callum is always looking to improve. Rather than seeing other artists as competition, he studies those he admires most, continually refining his own work in pursuit of a higher standard. Every tattoo is approached with the same mindset: take the time it needs, never rush the process, and leave knowing you've produced the best piece you're capable of.

While he enjoys a wide range of projects, Disney tattoos hold a special place. They capture a sense of nostalgia and joy that makes them as rewarding to create as they are to wear.

Callum founded The Gilded Hollow to build more than a tattoo studio. His vision was to create a space where artists and people who appreciate art feel genuinely welcome an environment that feels exclusive without being intimidating. Whether a client travels twenty minutes or two hours, the goal is always the same: that they leave feeling the journey was worth it and looking forward to returning.
